Current transformer for tariff applications
In addition to a comprehensive range of standard current transformers in accuracy classes 0.5 and 1, GMW has a wide range of current transformers for current ranges from 25 A to 3000 A in the accuracy classes 0.2s, 0.2, 0.5s, 0, 5th since 1 January 2015, conversion converters have been placed on the market in Germany following the conformity assessment procedure.
Transducers (Module B) approved by the „Physikalisch Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) Braunschweig“ are identifiable with a generic and design number arranged in a stylized "S".
The usual GMW type designation is additionally preceded by an "E".
The conformity of the transducers is documented by a yellow conformity mark as well as a declaration of conformity enclosed with the goods.
The quality assurance system is recognized by PTB in accordance with module D of the conformity assessment procedure, so that the offsetting converters can be used directly for invoicing purposes.
For other European countries, these type-approved current transformers have permits for billing purposes.
Tube current transformers – offsetting for tariff application (EASR)
Current transformers with circular primary conductor bushing for primary rated currents of 75 A to 600 A, secondary rated current 5 A or 1 A, in the accuracy classes 0.2, 0.5s and 0.5 with type approval by PTB Braunschweig for use for billing purposes, optionally with copper tube or snap fastening.
Plug-in current transformers – offsetting for tariff application (EASK)
Plug-in current transformers for primary rated currents from 50 A to 3000 A, secondary rated current 5 A or 1 A, in accuracy classes 0.2s, 0.2, 0.5s, 0.5 with type approval by PTB Braunschweig for use with billing purposes.
The delivery of all devices is including the required mounting materials.
Optionally, the supply of primary conductor rails (electrolytic copper, nickel-plated) according to the rail window, including screws DIN 933, complete with nuts, washers and spring washers for mounting in busbars or something like that is possible.

Two-way switchable plug-on current transformers for primary rated currents of 200-100 A to 1000-500 A, secondary rated current 5 A or 1 A,
in accuracy classes 0.5s and 0.5 with type approval by PTB Braunschweig for use for billing purposes.

Wound current transformers for primary rated currents from 25 A to 150 A, secondary rated current 5 A or 1 A, in the accuracy classes 0.2, 0.5s and 0.5,
with type approval by PTB Braunschweig for use for billing purposes.
Wound current transformer with primary winding and primary terminals instead of a primary conductor opening.
Summation current transformers – offsetting for tariff application (ESUSK)
Summation current transformers for primary rated currents of 5 A, secondary rated current 5 A, in accuracy class 0.2, with type approval by PTB Braunschweig for use for billing purposes.
The number following the type designation, gives information about the number of main converters to be connected, whereby a maximum of 8 primary inputs can be realized.
Three-phase current transformers set – offsetting for tariff application (EASK(D)/EASKD/EWSKD)
Three-phase current transformer set, for primary nominal currents from 3 x 50 A to 3 x 750 A, secondary nominal current 5 A or 1 A, in the accuracy classes 0.2, 0.5s and 0.5, with type approval by PTB Braunschweig for the Use for billing purposes, for space-saving installation in power distribution systems, converter set equipped with primary connection rails and integrated contact protection cover.
