Conventional current transformers typically output standardized secondary currents of 1 A or 5 A. However, these signals are far too high for modern controllers, analog-to-digital converters, energy meters, and IoT gateways.
GMW small-signal current transformers transform high primary currents directly into proportional millivolt signals (e.g. 0…333 mV) or standardized electronic currents (0/4…20 mA) .
