Current transformers for industry
GMW has over 9500 different low- and medium voltage current transformers of the series 0,5 with a maximum
operating voltage of 0,72 kV (respectively 1,0 kV for type CTB 31.35). The manufacturing of all products will
be done in accordance with DIN EN 61869-1/2, VDE 0414-9-1/2 and DIN 42600 specified technical requirements.
This is based on the currently valid version of the cited standards.The main areas of our products can be found in

Tube current transformers (ASR)
Current transformers with circular primary conductor feedthrough for primary rated currents of 30 A to 1000 A, secondary rated
current 5 A, 2 A or 1 A, in the accuracy classes 0.2, 0.5s, 0.5, 1 and 3, optionally with copper tube or snap-on fastening.
Tube current transformers, secondarily switchable (ASR 2U)
Reversible current transformers with circular primary conductor bushing for primary rated currents of 200-100 A to 600-300 A,
secondary rated current 5 A, 2 A or 1 A, in accuracy class 1, optionally with copper tube or snap-on fastening.
Tube current transformers, poured out (ASG)
Current transformer with circular primary conductor feed-through for primary rated currents of 50 A to 300 A, secondary rated current 5 A, 2 A or 1 A,
in accuracy class 1, with flexible secondary connecting cables, nominal cross-section of connecting cables 2.5 mm², measuring system with
polyurethane resin potted.
Plug-in current transformers (ASK/CTB)
Plug-in current transformers for primary rated currents of 30 A to 8000 A, secondary rated current 5 A, 2 A or 1 A, in accuracy classes
0.2s, 0.2, 0.5s, 0.5 and 1. The delivery of all devices is including the required mounting materials. Optionally, the supply of primary conductor rails
(electrolytic copper, nickel-plated) according to the rail window, including screws DIN 933, complete with nuts, washers and spring washers for
mounting in busbars or something like that is possible.
Plug-in current transformers, secondarily switchable (ASK 2U/ASK 3U)
Secondary switchable plug-in current transformers for primary rated currents of 150-75 A or 300-200-100 A to 2500-1250 A or 2000-1500-1000 A,
secondary rated current 5 A, 2 A or 1 A, in the accuracy classes 0.5 and 1. The delivery of all devices is including the required mounting materials.
Optionally, the delivery of primary conductor rails (electrolytic copper, nickel-plated) according to the rail window, including screws DIN 933,
complete with nuts, U-letter and spring washers for mounting in busbars or something like that is possible.
Wound current transformers (WSK)
Split core current transformers (KBR/KBU)
Current transformers with divisible measuring core for primary rated currents of 100 A to 5000 A, secondary rated current 5 A, 2 A or 1 A,
in accuracy classes 0.5 and 1. The divisible measuring system enables the simple, retroactive installation in existing systems with minimum
installation effort. For installation, the locking mechanism of the converter will be opened, placed around the primary conductor and audibly
engaged again. After connecting the secondary lines, the measuring arrangement is ready for operation immediately.
Summation current transformers (KSU/SUSK)
Summation current transformers for primary rated currents of 5 A or 1 A, secondary rated current 5 A, 2 A or 1 A, in the accuracy
classes 0.2, 0.5 and 1. The number of the type designation gives information about the number of main converters to be connected,
whereby a maximum of 8 primary inputs can be realized.
Current transformers for fuse rails (NH)
Current transformers for fuse dividing strips for primary rated currents from 100 A to 600 A, secondary rated current 5 A or 1 A, in accuracy class 3.
Contacting of secondary connections via 4 mm jack plug, for direct mounting in conjunction with low-voltage high-performance fuses with contact
blades and NH fuse-link according to DIN 43620/1. NH current transformers are equipped with 2 or 4 sockets and can be operated permanently opened.
Open circuit voltage at secondary rated current 5 A approx. 3-6 V and at secondary rated current1 A approx. 13-25 V. Available in three different sizes
(NH 1, NH 2 and NH 3).
Current transformers for fuse rails, secondarily switchable (NH 2U)
